Plantu à New Orleans

Hier, nous avons eu la chance de voir Mossieu Plantu en personne, le cartoonist du Monde. Et en prime, nous avons eu droit à un dessin dédicacé ! Génial. Ce qui est plus genial encore chez Plantu, c'est sa personnalité, il a l'air très modeste et était toujours en train de remercier tout le monde alors que c'était plutot à nous de le remercier d'etre venu nous rendre visite ! Alors chapeau l'artiste !!!

Plantu is a cartoonist specialized in political satire. His work has frequently appeared in Le Monde since 1972 and his editorial cartoons have graced the front page since 1985 in an effort to “acknowledge the French tradition of political cartoons”. In 1992, Arafat and Shimon Peres autographed one of Plantu s drafts before they decided to ratify the Oslo Accords. In 1998, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, UNESCO published several dozen brochures illustrated by Plantu. His drawings have been translated into many languages.
